SMS Communications Privacy Policy

1. What information we collect
CSI collects the customer’s mobile phone number, the date and method the customer opted in to SMS communications, and a record of SMS messages exchanged for quote, delivery, and inquiry support.
2. How we use the information
CSI uses SMS information only for delivery schedules, driver ETA updates, quote updates, site-access coordination, and answering inquiries the customer started. CSI does not send marketing or promotional texts.
3. No sharing or selling
Mobile opt-in information and SMS consent data will not be shared, sold, leased, rented, or otherwise disclosed to any third party for that third party’s marketing, promotional, or commercial purposes.
4. How consent is obtained
A customer can opt in by checking the SMS consent checkbox on the quote or contact form, replying YES to a confirmation text when the customer texts CSI first, or giving verbal consent captured during a call. CSI logs each consent record for four years.
5. The customer’s right to opt out

7. Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply from the customer’s carrier. CSI does not charge customers for sending these transactional text messages.

Message frequency varies, but the typical range is 2 to 10 messages per order or quote.
9. Supported carriers
Supported carriers may include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, US Cellular, Sprint, Boost, Cricket, MetroPCS, and other United States wireless carriers.
10. Data security and retention
CSI uses reasonable safeguards for SMS records, including encryption in transit where available, access controls, and a four-year retention period for consent and messaging records.
